Hills Like White Elephants

"They look like White Elephants."

"I'm perfectly to go through with it if it means anything to you."

"Doesn't it mean anything to you? We could get along?"

"That's the only thing that bothers us. It's the only thing thats made us unhappy."

Hemingway has an approach to writing I have never really seen before. His story consists of strictly description of the setting and then dialogue. It is almost like a script for a theatrical performance mixed with a description of the performances background. His vocabulary selection is also an interesting aspect of his writing style. Hemingway's very rich word selection, cleverly gives a good read.
