Hills Like White Elephants

I enjoyed this story and found it very interesting. I appreciated Hemingway's use of detail and description. I could really picture the bar scene and felt like I was in the story. The only thing I didn't like was not having enough information on the characters. I would have liked to have known more about them and their age. Another thing I found confusing was the dialogue. Sometimes I didn't know who was speaking, the waitress, girl or boy. As a whole I enjoyed the story and Hemingway's writing.

DIALOGUE I LIKED:
"Of course it does. But I don't want anybody but you. I don't want anyone else. And I know it's perfectly simple."

"Thats the only thing that bothers us. It's the only thing that's made us unhappy."

"If you don't want to you don't have to. I wouldn't have you do it if you didn't want to. But I know it's perfectly simple."
