A rhetorical situation are simply situations in which you are to write. For example, writing a cover letter for a job resume, papers for a college class, and even when you are taking notes in a class. Contrasted to rhetorical analysis which is the process of deciding what format to put your writings in. Some examples of this would be when writing serious school papers that need to be properly formatted in a word document or when asking a professor a question, an e-mail would be the most appropriate way of writing it.

When I am writing online the type of appeal would be logos. I chose logos because they contain my own opinions and facts. Person online writings should not contain stats and facts, but instead your own personal opinions, that's why it's a personal account.
